Business Development Director – Energy Sector

About the role

UCC Holding is seeking a senior Business Development Director to lead growth initiatives across the energy sector in Qatar. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s footprint in oil & gas and energy services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies for the energy market.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new projects and partnerships across upstream, midstream, and downstream segments.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IOC/NOC entities, EPC contractors, and government bodies.
• Lead commercial negotiations, prepare proposals, and manage contract discussions.
• Collaborate with operations and technical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development within the oil & gas or energy services sector.
• Strong understanding of upstream, midstream, or downstream operations.
• Experience dealing with IOC, NOC, EPC contractors, and government stakeholders.
• Demonstrated commercial, strategic, and leadership capabilities.
• Exposure to GCC or international energy markets is preferred.
