About the role

The Business Development Director will drive growth by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s market presence. This senior leader will oversee cross‑functional teams and shape long‑term commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across emerging markets.
• Build and manage relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, partners, and vendors.
• Evaluate existing partnerships and sales efforts, refining strategies that work and changing those that don’t.
• Lead sales, marketing, customer‑service, and client‑relationship management teams.
• Develop internal and external relationships to increase lead generation and market share.
• Form cross‑functional teams to support sustainable, long‑term growth.
• Track market trends and propose new services or strategic partnerships.
• Research new markets and advise on product development, distribution, and promotion strategies.
• Identify sponsorship and nonprofit engagement opportunities.
• Conduct webinars and presentations to raise brand visibility.
• Select prospective vendors, negotiate contracts, and travel to key locations.
• Respond to RFPs and help shape customer‑facing digital platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior business development or commercial leadership roles.
• Strong track record of building and managing strategic partnerships.
