Personal Banking Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Personal Banking Supervisor to lead and manage a team of Direct Sales/Personal Banking Officers in Qatar. The role combines team leadership, sales strategy, and personal sales responsibilities, with both individual and team targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate a team of direct sales officers to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to grow the customer base and increase product penetration.
• Generate new leads through direct sales, referrals, corporate tie‑ups and market activities.
• Achieve personal sales targets while supporting the overall team performance.
• Promote and cross‑sell the full range of banking products, including accounts, cards, loans, deposits, bancassurance and wealth/investment solutions.
• Allocate targets, monitor daily performance and prepare regular sales and pipeline reports for management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with high‑value customers, focusing on wealth and affluent segments.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, KYC/AML requirements and QCB regulations.
• Identify training needs, support team development and handle escalations to maintain high customer service standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Banking or a related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years’ experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor in direct sales within a local bank in Qatar.
• Recent experience in a banking team‑leader role; wealth banking experience preferred.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, spoken and written.
• Valid Qatar driving licence and residence permit (QID); transferable sponsorship preferred.
