Business Development Manager – Insurance

About the role

JobSeib Insurance and Reinsurance in Qatar is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead new business acquisition and strengthen client relationships for its insurance portfolio. You will work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, driving growth through strategic partnerships and corporate sales.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a proactive sales strategy to acquire new corporate clients for insurance products.
• Identify prospective clients through market research, networking and cold outreach.
• Deliver sales presentations, proposals and negotiate contracts to secure partnerships.
• Build and nurture relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers.
• Serve as primary contact for corporate clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Maintain accurate submission records in line with underwriting guidelines.
• Visit clients regularly, log activities and report progress to management.
• Utilize CRM for new submissions and administrative tasks.
• Respond to client inquiries and conduct thorough needs assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably in the insurance sector.
• Proven track record in corporate sales, business development or account management within insurance.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
