Business Development Officer

About the role
The Business Development Officer will support Chedid & Associates – Qatar in expanding its client base across the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Reporting to senior management, the role focuses on identifying prospects, building relationships and delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet the company’s growth targets.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential clients, establishing strong relationships.
- Maintain and regularly update a segmented database of prospects.
- Propose appropriate insurance and reinsurance solutions to meet client needs.
- Generate new business opportunities and contribute to the company’s portfolio growth.
- Report on client performance and track progress against annual business budgets.
- Provide ongoing service and support to existing clients.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience within Qatar.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance or reinsurance market is an advantage.
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
