Business Development Specialist Life Sciences and Pharma

About the role

The Business Development Specialist – Life Sciences and Pharma is a full‑time, on‑site position in Doha, Qatar. You will identify and qualify new business opportunities across pharmaceutical, healthcare and MedTech sectors, supporting the firm’s market expansion across EMEA and other target regions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and map potential clients and partners.
• Manage outreach, follow‑up activities and build pipelines.
• Develop tailored commercial proposals and presentations.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors and partners.
• Coordinate meetings, calls and internal collaboration to align business development with market‑access strategies.
• Track sales pipelines, report progress and provide insights for strategic planning.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and market‑research capabilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Effective lead‑generation experience.
• Relevant experience in business development, sales or commercial roles within life sciences, pharma, healthcare or MedTech.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, healthcare management or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
• Fluency in English; Arabic or French is an asset.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced international environment.
