Business Finance Manager

About the role

The Business Finance Manager will lead the preparation and analysis of financial and strategic information for the organization in Doha. The role ensures accurate budgeting, variance monitoring, risk evaluation and cost‑control initiatives while supporting middle‑management with business cases, dashboards and insightful reporting for senior finance leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and update internal accounting policies and SOPs, focusing on process improvement and internal controls.
• Facilitate risk‑management processes through trend analysis, impact modelling and mitigation activities.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing activities and enforce proper accounting methods.
• Create advanced financial models, conduct profitability and scenario analyses, and benchmark unit costs.
• Participate in annual strategic planning, including market trend analysis, SWOT, budgeting, forecasting and sensitivity testing.
• Build business‑partner relationships with area leaders and promote a value‑risk‑priority mindset for project proposals.
• Prepare, analyse and present monthly KPI performance, revenue/expenditure variance and quarterly rolling forecasts to stakeholders.
• Review commercial contracts and proposals to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
