Capital Markets Analyst – Treasury (Qatarization)

About the role

We are seeking a Qatari professional with a strong treasury background to join our Capital Markets team. The Analyst will evaluate project finance options, manage global FX and interest‑rate exposures, and support daily liquidity optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in structuring and executing corporate financing transactions such as syndicated loans, Sukuk/bond issuances, project‑level debt and refinancing facilities.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess capital‑structure options, cost of capital, debt‑service coverage ratios and leverage capacity.
• Prepare credit pitch books, lender presentations and documentation for rating agencies, international banks and sovereign partners.
• Monitor daily cash positions, track global bank balances across subsidiaries and produce short‑ to long‑term cash‑flow forecasts.
• Serve as the operational liaison for local and international banks on credit lines, escrow accounts, trade finance and account operations.
• Analyse FX and interest‑rate risks and support the execution of derivative and hedging strategies.
• Track loan covenants, reporting deadlines and debt‑maturity profiles; produce treasury dashboards, yield analyses and board‑level briefing notes on macro‑economic trends.

Required profile

• Qatari national with at least 4 years of experience in corporate treasury or capital markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration.
• Professional certifications such as CFA or CTP are preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial‑modeling expertise.
• Familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of FX and interest‑rate risk management, derivatives and hedging.
• Experience with syndicated loans, Sukuk, bond issuance and cash‑management processes.
• Ability to track loan covenants and produce detailed reporting dashboards.
