Career Development Officer

About the role

Dolphin Energy is looking for a Career Development Officer to implement and support its career development programs, including the high potential and summer internship programs, under the guidance of the Head of Career Development Qatar. The role focuses on developing national talent and maintaining clear career paths across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Implement career development programs such as the high potential and summer internship programs.
• Help implement and maintain job ladders and career paths so they are properly communicated.
• Assist employees in choosing the right development plan (IDP, CEP, ODP, PIP) with the HR Strategic Partner, aligned to business needs.
• Monitor progress against personal development plans with HR Business Partners, offering counselling and recommendations.
• Report on national talent development and help close competency gaps.
• Maintain the development database and records, and review the effectiveness of the program.
• Support the Head of Career Development Qatar in building a Career Development Manual and in succession planning campaigns.
• Schedule milestone presentations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field from a recognised university.
• At least 5 years of relevant human resources experience.
• Experience with succession planning, career paths and development.
• Arabic spoken is preferred.

Required skills

• Excellent PC skills, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Good counselling skills and strong written and oral communication in English.
• Analytical skills.
