HR Business Partner

About the role

Qatar Airways is looking for an HR Business Partner to join its HR team in Doha, Qatar. The role acts as a strategic partner to senior leaders, giving expert guidance on workforce planning, organizational development, talent strategy and business transformation. It works closely with Executive Leadership and line managers to drive organizational performance and deliver people solutions that support the airline's growth.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the business, its strategy, drivers, products, budgets, forecasts and employee issues, and know the key influencers
• Coach business managers to think strategically and consider the impact of change on the organization
• Promote open, constructive dialogue between employees, managers and leaders
• Influence decision-making at all stages of strategy development and implementation
• View HR services from the client's perspective and contribute to problem-solving strategies
• Help HR leaders align HR strategy with business strategy, including policy development
• Contribute to recruitment, employee development and compensation strategy (not implementation) to support workforce planning and organizational change
• Perform other duties related to the position as directed by the Head of Department

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 6 years of job-related experience
• Strong coaching skills and experience leading HR projects
• Experience in best-practice HR practices such as case management, employee relations and organizational design
• Advantageous: retail or travel industry experience and experience with a diverse workforce

Required skills

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Data analysis skills and advanced Excel skills are a plus
