Career Services Specialist – Student & Graduate Support

About the role

The University of Doha for Science and Technology is seeking a Career Services Specialist to lead and enhance career guidance for its students and graduates. Reporting to the Head of Career Services, you will design and deliver programs that align with the university’s mission to develop talent for Qatar’s knowledge‑based economy.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of comprehensive career services programs and initiatives.
• Document and maintain policies governing career counselling, student employment, employer relations, and career fair organization.
• Provide one‑on‑one career advising, resume and cover‑letter reviews, job‑search strategy coaching, and interview preparation.
• Assist in organizing the annual university career fair and other career‑related events, workshops, and programs.
• Oversee student employment processes and ensure successful work‑term placements.
• Conduct career assessments using appropriate tools to guide students toward suitable career paths.
• Develop career resources such as guides, tip sheets, and online tools.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date employer database and collect data to support program improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in career services, student employment, or related advisory roles.
