About the role
Qataf Food Trading is seeking a Chief Accountant for its FMCG retail subsidiary in Lebanon. This full‑time, on‑site position will lead the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, effective budgeting, and strict compliance with local accounting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations and month‑end closing processes.
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports.
- Develop, monitor, and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
- Analyse financial data to support strategic decision‑making.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus.
- Proven experience preparing financial statements and managing budgets.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency with accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
