Chief Investment & Operating Officer

About the role

The Chief Investment & Operating Officer will lead the family office’s investment activities, shaping strategy, sourcing and executing opportunities, and driving value creation across the portfolio. Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior leader will oversee both investment and operational performance to ensure long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and execute investment opportunities across multiple sectors and asset classes.
• Lead financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and M&A transaction processes.
• Develop investment recommendations, papers and strategic acquisition/disposal plans.
• Monitor portfolio performance, identify value‑creation levers and support capital allocation.
• Assist portfolio companies in achieving strategic and operational objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, advisors and strategic partners.
• Provide commercial insight and challenge to support senior‑level decision‑making.

Required profile

• Commercially minded, entrepreneurial and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical capability with a proven investment track record.
• 10‑17 years of experience in investment, private equity, family office, investment banking or corporate finance.
• Existing professional network and experience within Qatar.
• Demonstrated M&A transaction experience and real‑estate investment exposure.
