About the role
The Clinical Midwife provides safe, effective, woman‑centered care throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery and the postpartum period, ensuring high standards aligned with Sidra Medicine practices.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care for women and newborns across antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum phases.
- Document care, discharge planning and family education in accordance with Sidra standards.
- Participate in supervision, orientation and training of staff, students and new hires.
- Identify quality improvement opportunities and contribute to safety and incident investigations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery or Nursing with a recognized postgraduate midwifery program and registration as a Midwife.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical midwifery experience (overseas candidates) and a valid professional midwifery license.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
