Clinical Nurse – Women’s Special Care Unit

About the role

The Clinical Nurse in the Women’s Special Care Unit provides safe, effective direct care, overseeing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient programs while ensuring compliance with Sidra standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care, including discharge planning and family education, aligned with Sidra documentation standards.
• Supervise, orient and train staff, students and new hires, acting as a preceptor and mentor.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evidence‑based practice and shared leadership activities.
• Maintain accurate, real‑time electronic documentation and adhere to all hospital policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a valid professional nursing license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in the relevant specialty, preferably from a highly esteemed healthcare institution.
• Strong critical‑thinking, communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to Sidra’s values and code of conduct.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
