Computer Service Technician – IT Hardware Support

About the role

The Computer Service Technician provides first‑level hardware and software support in a service‑center environment. You will diagnose, resolve, and document technical issues while ensuring clear communication with users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical maintenance and service for all Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) (20%).
• Evaluate equipment for malfunctions and deficiencies (20%).
• Perform baseline procedures and hardware replacements (20%).
• Collaborate with the Systems Support Specialist Lead to assess workstations, monitors, printers, servers, and peripherals (15%).
• Conduct final technical inspections and update work order tracking status (15%).
• Execute monthly UBL inventories and support cyclical property inventories (5%).
• Perform other assigned duties (5%).

Required profile

• College degree or equivalent experience; 3+ years related experience.
• CompTIA A+ (or equivalent) certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a NAC and Smart Card.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills (level 3).
• Advanced PC technical support capabilities and solid time‑management skills.
• Proficiency with the latest Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with Maximo or a similar work‑order system.
