Concierge - The St. Regis Residence, Doha

About the role

The St. Regis Residence in Marsa Arabia Island, Doha, Qatar is hiring a full-time, non-management concierge. The role covers guest requests, property information, call handling and front-of-house service, with a focus on hospitality standards and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services such as transportation, reservations and dry cleaning, arranging them or identifying suitable providers
• Handle special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction
• Gather, summarise and share information with guests about the property and its surroundings, including special events and activities
• Answer, record and process guest calls, messages, requests, questions and concerns, contacting the right departments (e.g. Bellperson, Housekeeping) to resolve issues
• Review shift logs and daily memo books and document information in logbooks
• Monitor the club lounge for seating availability, service, safety and guest well-being
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to the manager and complete required safety training and certifications
• Welcome guests according to company standards, assist people with disabilities and thank guests sincerely
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality and compliance with company policies and quality assurance standards
• Work within the team, support colleagues and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
• No related work experience or supervisory experience required
• Able to stand, sit or walk for long periods and to lift objects of up to 10 pounds
