Construction & Installation Supervisor (Offshore Structural & Piping)

About the role

The Construction & Installation Supervisor (Offshore Structural & Piping) leads all mechanical, piping, structural and electrical/instrumentation works on offshore oil & gas projects. You will ensure that construction and installation activities are performed safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with approved designs, industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the company on offshore facilities, supervising EPIC contractors during mechanical and steel‑structure construction.
• Monitor daily construction activities, verify compliance with AFC drawings, method statements, JHAs and project specifications.
• Review and approve contractor method statements, construction schedules, lifting plans and inspection & test plans.
• Conduct material receipt inspections, raise reports for damaged or missing items, and manage documentation control.
• Prepare and manage work permits through the e‑PTW system, ensuring safety and HSEQ compliance.

Required profile

• HNC/HND or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8‑10 years of offshore construction and installation experience in the oil & gas sector.
• Proven experience with mechanical, piping, structural installation and commissioning on greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, quality control, safety regulations and environmental practices.
• Experience leading multinational, multicultural contractor teams.
