Construction Supervisor – Civil Projects

About the role

The Construction Supervisor (Civil) will oversee civil construction activities for a major oil & gas client in Doha, ensuring all works are executed to the approved scope, engineering design, and QHSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise contractors to guarantee compliance with scope of work, design specifications, and safety standards.
• Review and comment on construction method statements, material submittals, and commissioning procedures from start‑up through handover.
• Act as the performing authority for Permit to Work issuance and management.
• Coordinate with engineering and HSE teams to resolve technical and safety issues on site.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in an engineering discipline or a relevant diploma with extensive construction experience.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in civil construction and installation within oil & gas projects.
• Proven knowledge of construction best practices, systems, processes, and standards.
• Additional HSE qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH is advantageous.
