Construction Supervisor – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Airswift is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead infrastructure works on a long‑term contract at the Mesaieed site in Qatar. The role involves overseeing EPIC contractors, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and coordinating daily construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise EPIC contractors during execution of construction activities.
• Review detailed design drawings, method statements, and material requisitions.
• Coordinate mobilization of contractors and approve construction work.
• Conduct daily checks on contractor staff and work performed.
• Manage mechanical construction tasks, including site investigations and surveys.
• Supervise installation of fire electric/diesel pumps, jockey pumps, deluge system piping, underground firefighting piping, and fire water tanks.
• Maintain a daily progress diary and sign work permits on behalf of the client.
• Develop as‑built documentation and prepare punch lists prior to hand‑over.
• Collaborate with other construction supervisors (electrical, architectural, instrumentation) and report to the senior supervisor.
• Enforce client safety standards, liaise with QC inspectors and HSE supervisors, and prepare daily activity reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising construction activities on infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with EPIC contracts and mechanical construction processes.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, especially deluge and sprinkler systems.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed design drawings and method statements.
• Excellent coordination and reporting skills.
