Construction Supervisor – Piping & Structure

About the role

Brunel is seeking a Construction Supervisor to lead piping and structural activities for offshore brownfield, shutdown and hook‑up projects. The role ensures safety, quality, integrity and schedule compliance while coordinating with operations and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate offshore brownfield, shutdown and hook‑up execution, including mechanical completion, pre‑commissioning and commissioning.
• Supervise and control contractor/sub‑contractor activities to meet contractual requirements and international standards.
• Review progress reports, highlight critical issues and ensure accurate reporting.
• Lead PTW meetings, enforce method statements and JSA approvals, and report safety concerns to line management.

Required profile

• High national diploma in Mechanical or Structural engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience on large‑scale construction, installation, fabrication or hook‑up projects in the oil & gas sector.
• Experience with offshore facilities, sour‑gas and LNG production environments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes and safety criteria for major fabrication and transport.
• Expertise in brownfield execution, shutdown procedures and hook‑up commissioning.
• Familiarity with PTW processes, JSA documentation and offshore safety culture.
