Contract Manager – Airport Project (Qatar)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join an international engineering consultancy working on a major airport development in Qatar. The successful candidate will oversee all contract administration activities throughout the project lifecycle and provide commercial guidance to project teams and senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead contract administration from inception to completion, handling correspondence, notices and change management.
• Review, negotiate and finalise contract terms with clients, contractors and consultants.
• Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and ensure project deliverables meet agreed standards.
• Support claims management, dispute resolution and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate closely with commercial, legal and project management teams to maintain contractual alignment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of contract management experience on aviation or similar large‑scale projects.
• Proven track record in an engineering consultancy or major development environment.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to start immediately or on very short notice and to be based in Qatar.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of international contract forms such as FIDIC.
