Contract Manager

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Contract Manager to join a reputable main contractor in Qatar. The role will lead the contractual management of large‑scale infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance, protecting the company’s interests, and driving profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all contractual matters across major infrastructure projects.
• Lead contract administration, including preparation, negotiation, and management of claims, variations, and extensions of time (EOT) submissions.
• Ensure compliance with FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.
• Support project teams in managing risks and contractual obligations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve disputes and maintain strong relationships.
• Provide strategic commercial advice to senior management and project directors.
• Mentor and guide commercial and contract teams across the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Law, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in commercial/contracts management, with at least 10 years in the Middle East.
• Proven track record working with main contractors on large‑scale infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and utilities.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and regional legal/commercial practices.
• Professional membership (MRICS, MCIArb or equivalent) highly desirable.
