Contracts Analyst

About the role

Provide post award contracts support and analysis to the Onshore & Operations Support Group aligned with QatarEnergy LNG policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in effective post‑award management of Onshore & Operations Support contracts in line with QatarEnergy LNG systems and ethical standards.
• Maintain an updated contracts list and continuously track contract validity and cap‑value utilization.
• Ensure periodic Contractor Performance Evaluations and continuous contractor development, with emphasis on local content.
• Review ITPs for compliance with contracted rates, create purchase orders in SAP, and issue them to contractors.
• Develop and execute Contract Work Orders (CWO), manage final payments and contract close‑out.
• Support the yearly Contracts Demand Plan, provide month‑end and year‑end accrual numbers, and ensure timely invoice clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Business Administration.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in cost and contracts management within the oil and gas industry.

Required skills

• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Advanced use of MS Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Good knowledge of contract law and industry practice.
• Proficiency in Power BI/Advanced Power BI.
