Contracts Engineer – EPC/Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

Provide contracts support to management and project teams in the preparation, review and administration of contracts, sub‑contracts and supplier agreements for EPC and oil & gas projects in Ras Laffan, Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, negotiate and manage contracts, change orders and major claims with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review extensive contract documents, extract critical terms, ensure compliance and create organized summaries for reference.
• Conduct risk assessments throughout project lifecycles and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, quality, health, safety, security and environmental requirements across all contractual activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quantity surveying, construction management, law or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in oil & gas EPC projects, with proven experience as a Contracts Engineer.
• Strong understanding of contract law, risk management principles and excellent negotiation skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CPCM (Certified Professional Contract Manager) or CCM are preferred.
