Contracts Manager – Construction Projects in Qatar

About the role

We are looking for a senior Contracts Manager to lead flagship construction projects in Qatar, focusing on complex healthcare and hospital facilities. The role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle from groundbreaking to handover, ensuring delivery on schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all on‑site construction activities for high‑rise and advanced hospital buildings.
• Manage specialized construction methodologies and enforce stringent QA/QC and international HSE regulations.
• Direct large multidisciplinary teams of engineers, subcontractors, and site staff to maintain productivity and morale.
• Serve as the primary liaison with clients, consultants, project management firms, and local authorities.
• Oversee material procurement, heavy‑machinery allocation, and labor optimisation plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years progressive experience in construction, with a proven track record delivering healthcare/hospital projects.
• Mandatory GCC experience, preferably with prior Qatar project exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Must be residing in Qatar or ready to relocate to Doha immediately.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of regional construction laws, civil codes and international contract frameworks.
• Expertise in QA/QC standards and HSE regulations.
