Cost Management Analyst – Financial Planning & Budgeting

About the role

The Cost Management Analyst will support SPIE Global Services Energy in Qatar by monitoring, analysing and managing institutional costs. The role ensures financial efficiency, regulatory compliance and alignment with organisational policies while providing insight for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily cost data, track performance and deliver periodic cost‑management reports.
• Prepare the annual financial cost‑management plan and budgeting model.
• Develop and maintain procedures, guidelines and processes for cost planning, modelling and budgeting.
• Coordinate the preparation of group‑consolidated budgets and ensure consistency across subsidiaries.
• Provide monthly cost analysis against budget, identify gaps and present KPI reports.
• Conduct inventories trend analysis and lead cost‑review meetings with internal stakeholders.
• Drive cross‑functional alignment on cost objectives, assumptions and performance expectations.
• Support strategic decisions through ad‑hoc cost analyses and benchmarking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (field related to finance, accounting or economics).
• Experience in cost management, budgeting or financial analysis within an industrial or energy context.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with large data sets.
