Country Manager - Food Services

About the role

Talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Country Manager - Food Services for its team in Qatar. The role reports to the General Manager MENA Talabat Kitchens and suits someone who has a track record of managing teams, can work independently and handle data while working closely with management.

Key responsibilities

• Create a blueprint for growing cloud kitchens' presence in Qatar, aligned with the wider company strategy
• Own business development, stakeholder and wide-scale project management initiatives for Talabat Kitchens
• Own the country's financial statements, hit budgets and drive growth in construction, new brand launches and profitability
• Coordinate between stakeholders and ensure perfect orders reach consumers
• Partner with Logistics Operations and Customer Experience teams to improve site performance
• Work with the Senior Director Food Services to build business cases for future projects and jointly identify kitchen spaces for expansion
• Manage day-to-day operations of multiple brands, including health and safety, stock deliveries and site hygiene

Required profile

• Bachelor or MBA degree in Business, Marketing or STEM from a top university
• 3+ years in a growth/product manager role, consulting, internal strategy or startups
• Prior experience in tech, e-commerce, food, FMCG or a mix of these
• Fluent Arabic speaker (mandatory)
• Experience managing cross-functional teams (mandatory)
• Deep understanding of financial statements, planning and investment proposals
• Good knowledge of the cloud kitchens industry and the restaurant business

Required skills

• Analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to identify key metrics, digest complex data and build data-driven action plans
• Online marketing concepts and tools
• Communication skills, including presenting business cases to stakeholders up to the C-Suite
