Cyber Offensive Specialist (Qatar)

About the role

The Cyber Offensive Specialist will lead proactive security testing and threat hunting initiatives to protect Qatar Foundation’s digital assets. This role focuses on identifying vulnerabilities, simulating attacker behavior, and delivering actionable intelligence to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute quarterly threat hunting and penetration testing across IT, OT, and Education City Stadium environments.
• Maintain a centralized security findings tracker, ensuring timely remediation and escalation of high‑risk issues.
• Run the annual Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) program and continuously improve the Vulnerability Management process.
• Leverage Threat Intelligence platforms, monitor Indicators of Compromise, and align assessments with MITRE ATT&CK and OWASP Top 10 frameworks.
• Develop and update a Cyber Offensive knowledge base, including attack‑surface analysis and escalation paths.
• Automate offensive security activities and manage application security scanning throughout the SDLC.
• Produce threat intelligence and hunting reports for the SOC and senior cyber security leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in offensive security, red‑team operations, or advanced penetration testing.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
