Delivery Unit Leader – Application Development

About the role

We are looking for a Delivery Unit Leader to oversee end‑to‑end execution of the Software Development Life Cycle for our custom application portfolio. The role leads delivery teams, ensures quality and efficiency, and collaborates with the Practice Leader to align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and source methodologies, processes and tools for Java and .NET service delivery.
• Create a departmental roadmap for continuous improvement of development, testing, release and integration processes.
• Oversee delivery unit activities to ensure optimal productivity and timely project delivery.
• Support pre‑sales teams in opportunity identification, proposal preparation and tender evaluation.
• Provide technical leadership, SDLC oversight, and first‑line escalation for project managers.
• Own capability development, upskill teams, and manage resource allocation to maximize billable hours.
• Plan and manage the delivery unit budget, invoicing and client interaction support.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, MIS or IT.
• 12 + years of IT management experience with focus on application development.
• At least 8 years managing Scrum projects/teams through all SDLC phases.
• Strong hands‑on experience delivering custom applications using Java and/or .NET.
• Experience with APIs, micro‑services, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) and DevOps practices.
