Digital Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

The Digital Infrastructure Specialist will safeguard and advance the school’s digital environment, covering cloud services, device management, and data integration. Working closely with staff, students and external partners, the role drives automation, security and reliable access to educational technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and related cloud services.
• Provision, configure and de‑provision user accounts for staff and students, including bulk onboarding each academic year.
• Manage device enrollment, compliance and application deployment via Microsoft Intune, Meraki or other MDM solutions.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and Microsoft Graph automations to streamline routine tasks.
• Design, monitor and troubleshoot API integrations and Azure Data Factory pipelines.
• Implement and oversee cyber‑security controls such as firewalls, encryption, and multi‑factor authentication.
• Detect, respond to, and document security incidents in line with data‑privacy regulations.
• Produce clear technical documentation and knowledge‑base articles for non‑technical users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong communication skills to support a multicultural school community.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure AD, Microsoft 365) and device‑management platforms.
• Proven ability to work with contractors and manage outsourced IT services.
• Systematic problem‑solving approach and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
