Director of Health & Wellness

About the role

Zulal Wellness Resort is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Health & Wellness to lead its award‑winning wellness operations. This senior executive will drive operational excellence, create innovative wellness programs, and ensure exceptional guest experiences that reflect the resort’s and Chiva‑Som’s wellness philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Health & Wellness Department, ensuring compliance with Chiva‑Som standards, the resort’s wellness philosophy, and local health regulations.
• Oversee service quality, guest satisfaction, departmental performance, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage budgets, financial controls, resource planning, and operational efficiency to meet business objectives.
• Develop, mentor, and manage multidisciplinary, multicultural teams, ensuring optimal staffing and high performance.
• Design innovative wellness programs and collaborate with Sales & Marketing to enhance offerings, brand reputation, and revenue growth.
• Build strong relationships with guests and industry partners to deliver exceptional experiences and foster long‑term loyalty.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Wellness Management, Hospitality Management, Healthcare Management, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a luxury wellness resort, destination spa, or five‑star hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary and multicultural teams; pre‑opening experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of integrated wellness modalities such as TAIM, nutrition, fitness, and holistic therapies.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
