Director of Sales (EBC)

About the role

The Director of Sales (EBC) leads the segmented sales effort for hotel properties in the region, driving revenue growth and building long‑term, value‑based customer relationships. This senior role oversees daily sales activities, sets personal booking targets, and ensures the sales strategy aligns with overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement aggressive sales strategies and solicitation programs for targeted segments (group, transient, corporate, etc.).
• Collaborate with property sales leaders to create and execute regional sales plans, including promotions and market positioning.
• Lead the sales team by setting personal booking goals, recommending team targets, and monitoring day‑to‑day performance.
• Participate in sales calls, generate proposals, draft contracts, and manage customer correspondence.
• Analyze market data, support revenue management with accurate forecasts, and review guest satisfaction metrics to identify improvement areas.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by engaging with guests pre‑ and post‑event to gather feedback on product quality and service levels.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field with at least 4 years of sales/marketing experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven leadership experience in sales within the hospitality sector.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret market and financial data.
