Director of Sales (EBC)

About the role

The Director of Sales (EBC) leads the segmented sales effort for hotel properties within the region, driving revenue growth and building long‑term, value‑based customer relationships. This senior position oversees day‑to‑day sales activities, sets personal booking targets, and guides the team to achieve regional sales objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute segment‑specific sales strategies in collaboration with property sales leaders.
• Implement aggressive solicitation programs to increase business and support promotional initiatives.
• Set and recommend booking goals for the sales team, ensuring maximum revenue potential.
• Monitor daily activities of direct reports, participate in sales calls, and manage the operational aspects of booked business (proposals, contracts, correspondence).
• Analyze market data, support revenue management projections, and review guest satisfaction results to identify improvement areas.
• Provide leadership in guest hospitality and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with at least 4 years of sales/marketing experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to lead sales teams, set targets, and achieve revenue goals.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret market and financial data.
