Dredging Superintendent

About the role

The Dredging Superintendent will be based on‑site in Al Wakrah and will lead daily dredging activities for marine construction projects. Reporting to the project manager, you will ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently and in line with technical specifications and environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate dredging crews, equipment and vessels to meet project schedules.
• Plan work sequences, monitor progress and adjust resources as needed.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce health, safety and environmental standards.
• Prepare daily progress reports and communicate issues to engineers and subcontractors.
• Support resource planning, training of site personnel and continuous improvement of dredging methods.

Required profile

• Proven experience in dredging, marine construction or related civil‑engineering operations, including crew and equipment supervision.
• Strong knowledge of dredging methods, marine equipment and vessel operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Understanding of applicable health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Effective leadership and communication skills for multicultural teams.
