Driver - Kitchen Operation

About the role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International, is hiring a Driver for kitchen operations in Doha West Bay, Qatar. The position is full-time and non-management, and involves picking up and dropping off laundry or commissary products and equipment between properties.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up and drop off laundry or commissary products and equipment at other properties using a truck.
• Inspect property vehicles for damage and cleanliness, and park them in the designated location when not in use.
• Secure vehicle keys when not in use.
• Document all trips before they start and after they end.
• Check tire pressure and fluid levels of property vehicles.
• Follow company safety and security policies, report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions, complete safety training and certifications, and comply with quality assurance standards.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and build positive working relationships with colleagues and departments.
• Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• Valid driver's license.
• No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• No related work experience or supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Able to read and visually verify information in various formats, such as small print.
• Able to move, lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier ones with assistance, and to work on slopes, stairs and uneven surfaces.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods and to perform repetitive manual tasks.
