E-Commerce Innovation & Project Manager

About the role

The E‑Commerce Innovation & Project Manager will drive the commercial success of QDFC’s online business by leading end‑to‑end projects that enhance, expand and optimise the e‑commerce platform. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will work with internal teams, agencies, brand partners and other external stakeholders to deliver incremental value and maintain a competitive edge.

Key responsibilities

• Manage e‑commerce projects from conception to delivery, including product enhancements, new online services and platform launches.
• Lead expansion of the online platform into new markets and integration with external marketplaces and digital channels.
• Oversee transitions of e‑commerce components to new solutions, ensuring smooth migration and continuity.
• Conduct regular market, shopper and consumer trend analysis and benchmark competition to keep the innovation agenda up‑to‑date.
• Perform audits of the current e‑commerce proposition to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure project compliance with data protection, cyber‑security, legal, procurement, reporting and budgeting standards.
• Prepare and present business cases for innovations and perform post‑implementation analysis.
• Coordinate novelty selection for the online assortment together with Procurement.
• Execute other duties as directed by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum six years of relevant experience in e‑commerce, digital platforms or project management.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Proven ability to analyse market trends and translate them into actionable project plans.
• Strong understanding of data protection, cyber‑security and legal compliance in a digital environment.
• Experience working with procurement and cross‑functional teams.
