Electrical Engineer – Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting Systems

About the role

We are looking for qualified Electrical Engineers to join a leading fire‑fighting system company in Qatar. The role focuses on the design, installation and maintenance of fire alarm and fire‑fighting electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local and international safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain electrical systems for fire alarm and fire‑fighting applications.
• Conduct site inspections and assess electrical requirements for fire‑safety installations.
• Prepare, review and update engineering drawings, specifications and related documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with UPDA, QCDD and other relevant fire‑safety regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule.
• Provide technical support to installation and maintenance teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in fire‑safety systems.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging fire‑safety technologies.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically with fire alarm and fire‑fighting systems.
• UPDA (Urban Planning and Development Authority) and QCDD (Qatar Civil Defence Department) certifications.
• Strong knowledge of fire‑safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
