Electrical Technician

About the role

The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, supporting the team and contributing to departmental improvement initiatives. The role requires timely reporting of faults to engineers and supervisors, and ensuring high‑quality workmanship. This position also involves assisting subcontractors and managing tools and spare parts.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks accurately and on schedule.
• Carry out corrective maintenance tasks and complete them within required timeframes.
• Report defects, breakdowns, and damages to the Fault Reporting Center or designated engineers.
• Assist subcontractors with their assigned work and ensure compliance with instructions.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and manage spare‑part requirements.
• Follow duty rosters, health‑safety procedures, and company HSEQ standards.

Required profile

• ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, and BS.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and within constraints.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.

Required skills
