Electrical Technician

About the role

The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, supporting the team, and contributing to departmental improvement efforts to boost performance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks accurately and on schedule.
• Carry out corrective maintenance tasks promptly and ensure high-quality work.
• Assist subcontractors with their assigned tasks and report any defects, breakdowns, or damages to the Fault Reporting Center or engineering team.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and report spare‑part requirements.
• Follow duty rosters, health, safety, quality (HSEQ) procedures, and client regulations.

Required profile

• ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
• Problem‑solving abilities and capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Teamwork orientation and willingness to follow instructions from supervisors and engineers.

Required skills

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of MSDS guidelines.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards.
• Knowledge of BS (British Standards) regulations.
