Electrical Technician

About the role

The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, supporting the team and reporting faults to engineers. The role contributes to improving department performance and ensures equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned preventive maintenance tasks accurately and on schedule.
• Carry out corrective maintenance work and complete tasks within agreed timeframes.
• Assist subcontractors with their assigned work and ensure quality standards are met.
• Report defects, breakdowns, and spare‑part needs to the Fault Reporting Center or engineering team.
• Maintain tools, test equipment and follow duty rosters.
• Comply with company HSEQ standards, client regulations and attend required training.

Required profile

• ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA and BS.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under tight deadlines.
• Team‑oriented attitude and ability to follow instructions from supervisors and engineers.

Required skills

• Electrical preventive maintenance.
• Electrical corrective maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Use of electrical test tools and equipment.
• Understanding of OSHA, MSDS, NFPA and BS safety standards.
