Engineering Logistics Portal Operator

About the role

The Engineering Logistics Portal (ELP) Operator manages all Typhoon repairable assets that have failed at Forward, ensuring they progress through quality gate, engineering tasking and repair scheduling. The role works closely with Part M engineers, inventory planners and repair schedulers to meet contractual KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Document and maintain all ML2/ML4 activities and transactions in the IMS system.
• Support daily operations, facilitate reviews and manage demand to meet delivery targets.
• Liaise with inventory planning, procurement, engineering, finance and maintenance to resolve supply‑demand issues.
• Analyse usage and transaction data to identify repetitive problems and support corrective actions.
• Mentor QEAF staff joining the MOB organisation and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Knowledge of operational supply chain processes within a Continuous Airworthiness Organisation.
• Strong relationships with maintenance operations and related functions such as procurement and engineering.
• Ability to interpret asset requirement information and prioritize ML2/ML4 activities.
• Valid driving licence; Institute of Supply Chain Management Level 3 (desirable).
