Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

About the role
The Estimator / Quantity Surveyor will support Waagner Biro Bridge Services in delivering accurate cost estimates and managing commercial aspects of civil, infrastructure, structural, O&M and MEP projects in Qatar.
Key responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs and contractual requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, rate build‑ups and tender pricing, including commercial proposals and clarifications.
- Handle post‑award activities such as valuations, payment applications, variations and final accounts.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of construction estimation/quantity surveying experience, with at least 5 years in GCC/Qatar.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
Required skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience with estimation/QS software such as Candy or CCS (or equivalent).
- Good knowledge of Qatar construction market and Ashghal contractual practices.
