Event Sales Manager

About the role

IEC is seeking an Event Sales Manager to drive revenue from corporate and private events across Qatar and the wider Middle East. This full‑time, on‑site position will work closely with the event planning and production teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new event clients, building a robust sales pipeline.
• Develop customized proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales for corporate and private events.
• Coordinate with planning and production teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM, prepare budgets, forecasts, and sales reports.
• Represent IEC at industry events and support post‑event follow‑up to foster repeat business.

Required profile

• Proven experience in event planning, event management, and sales, preferably in hospitality or marketing services.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, with a track record of building long‑term client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
