Events Sales Manager

About the role

The Events Sales Manager is responsible for coordinating and monitoring all meetings and events, from initial booking through post‑conference evaluation, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor meetings and events, handling bookings, BEOs, and post‑event evaluations.
• Liaise with Sales, Rooms, Reservations, and other departments to create profitable proposals and ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and issue BEOs and group summaries, manage banquet room allocations, and oversee guest check‑ins.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑event briefings, review charges, and ensure compliance with budgets and hotel guidelines.
• Collaborate with F&B and Executive Chef on custom menus to attract business and achieve profit targets.
• Respond to proposals within 24 hours, follow up leads within 48 hours, and maintain high service standards.
• Train and coach staff, maintain departmental records, and ensure health, safety, and emergency compliance.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of hotel policies, service procedures, and the Hotel Code of Conduct.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal departments and external clients.
• Ability to handle multiple events, adapt to changes, and resolve guest issues promptly.

Required skills

• Proficiency in managing Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and event documentation.
• Experience with MICE and catering operations.
• Familiarity with hotel reservation and sales systems.
