Executive Director, Data Centre Business Unit

About the role

The Executive Director will lead the Data Centre Business Unit, shaping strategy and driving growth for hyperscale and large‑scale colocation projects across the MENA region. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, the role carries full P&L responsibility and oversees all operational functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic vision, business plan and growth objectives for the unit.
• Provide executive leadership across project delivery, engineering, construction, commercial, procurement and operations.
• Own financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, budgeting and cost control.
• Lead business development, secure strategic partnerships and manage relationships with hyperscale operators, EPC contractors, technology partners and government entities.
• Ensure projects meet contractual obligations, programme milestones, quality standards and client expectations.
• Implement best‑practice governance, risk management and a culture of safety, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Oversee talent planning, recruitment, succession and retention of high‑performing teams.
• Provide strategic oversight of major bids, contract negotiations and commercial agreements.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Proven senior leadership experience with full P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience managing large‑scale hyperscale or colocation data centre projects in the MENA region.
