Executive Pastry Chef

About the role

The Ned Doha is seeking an inspiring Executive Pastry Chef to lead its pastry department across seven distinctive dining concepts. You will shape the pastry identity of one of Doha’s most iconic luxury destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative pastry menus for all outlets and events, managing the cake shop and rotating items.
• Maintain consistency in quality, taste, and presentation while controlling inventory, ordering, and costs.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with HACCP and hygiene standards.
• Lead, mentor, and train the pastry & bakery team, conducting regular demos and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef, service team, and senior leadership on business planning and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a pastry department in a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills, with a focus on staff retention.
• Ability to engage with guests to create memorable pastry experiences.

• Advanced pastry techniques and menu development.
• Inventory management and cost control.
• HACCP and food safety compliance.
