Experienced Accountant – Qatar

About the role

We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our finance team in Qatar. The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with local payroll regulations, and support financial planning and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities and financial transactions.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with WPS requirements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare financial and management reports with supporting documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, audits, and financial planning.
• Manage project accounting, including cost and expense tracking.
• Handle Letters of Credit (LCs) and bank guarantees.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, suppliers, and internal departments on finance‑related matters.
• Ensure all financial data is accurate, organized, and up to date.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in Qatar.
• Experience in a contracting or construction environment preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Hands‑on experience in payroll, WPS, AP/AR, financial reporting, audits, budgeting, and project accounting.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Valid NOC required; immediate availability is a plus.
