Field Services Engineer

About the role

The position supports a global energy‑technology provider by delivering on‑site mechanical expertise for heavy‑duty gas turbines and their auxiliary systems. The engineer ensures reliable operation across the energy value chain, from inspection through commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical inspections (CI, HGPI, MI) and troubleshoot heavy‑duty gas turbines.
• Plan, coordinate, and document maintenance schedules, mechanical NICs/TILs, and field modifications.
• Provide end‑user support with diagnostics, maintenance guidance, and high‑quality field service reports.
• Perform geometric and alignment checks, and manage erection, installation, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Power, Refinery, or Turbomachinery sectors.
• Proven ability to execute major inspections and overhauls on turbine models such as Fr 5/2, Fr6B, Fr 7E, and Fr 9E.
