About the role
We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Finance Director to join the pre‑opening team of a flagship luxury hotel in Doha. You will shape the financial strategy, systems and controls from the ground up and guide the property to a successful launch and long‑term profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance and cash‑flow management.
- Work closely with the General Manager and owners to provide strategic financial guidance.
- Lead the design and implementation of financial systems, processes and robust internal controls.
- Build, mentor and manage a high‑performing finance team.
- Provide hands‑on support during the pre‑opening phase and transition to a strategic leadership role post‑opening.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader within luxury hospitality.
- Strong pre‑opening experience is highly preferred.
- In‑depth knowledge of financial planning, analysis and controls.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Relevant finance qualification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
